164 is a superbly fitted out cottage set in an exclusive development 1 mile from Aviemore centre. Its relaxed atmosphere and stunning views of the Cairngorm Mountains, right in the heart of Scotland's newest National Park, make it an ideal central Highland location for all types of holiday experiences.

Although originally famous for ski-ing (snow or dry), there are many other activities, such as hill-walking, snowboarding, mountain climbing, sailing, wind surfing, golf pitch & putt, clay pigeon shooting, fly fishing (river & fish farm), mountain biking through the many highland trails and the Great Forest of Caledon at Rothiemurchus, bird watching at the many RSPB reserves and, of course, the Ospreys at nearby Loch Garten.

For the less energetic, sit back and enjoy a trip on the Steam Railway, or the Funicular Railway, all the way to the top of the Cairngorm Mountain, where you can enjoy a delightful evening or daytime snack with the whole splendour of Strathspey spread out 4,000 feet below you! Aviemore and its surrounds abounds with great hotels, bars, restaurants and shops, many within gentle walking distance of 164.
